5. Because of people like Sandy! Right now one of my co-workers is in the hospital having a cancerous tumor removed. She will be getting about 3 pints of blood during the procedure. Sandy is great. She’s a grandmother of six who still acts like someone in their 30’s. She’s vivacious, funny, and very giving. And right now she’s alive because of the people who have donated blood.
