Don’t you love it when your family and friends try to convince you to get married because the wedded live longer than us single folks? Turns out that’s only partly true. Psychology researcher Julianna Holt-Lunstand looked at the blood pressure of married and single people. Happily married people had lower blood pressure than the singletons, but single people were better off than those in bad marriages.
It really is better to be single than to be sorry. At least in terms of your health.
