The mission of 5 Days and $50 is simple; these are events you can do every night of the week that, if you were to do them all, would cost less than $50.
Monday 3/10: Introduction to Meditation Class 6:30pm-8pm.
Angel Hearts New Age Gifts (3401 Henderson Blvd. #H, Tampa). $9 ($5 for students).
Full Disclosure: I’m a Buddhist. But don’t worry, I’m not trying to convert you. Meditation isn’t a religious act, it is about learning to become the master of your mind. My friend, Christine, who doesn’t get the Buddhist thing at all has been feeling much happier and centered since I started dragging her to meditation. This is a good class to learn the basics of it, and if you like it you can try out some of the many other meditation classes in the area to find one you love.

Perfect for us broke working stiffs who want high culture and bargain prices.
